The Problem
Buying a home in India is supposed to be one of life's biggest milestones. Instead, it's become one of its most stressful. Buyers face endless spam calls from brokers they never contacted, property listings that don't match reality, and prices that seem to change depending on who's asking.
On average, it takes six months to find the right home. Not because the options aren't there — but because the process is broken. People make decisions under pressure, not with confidence.
The Founder
Amit Das spent years inside the real estate industry watching this from the inside. He saw how buyers were treated as leads instead of people, how listings were padded to look better than they were, and how the system was designed to benefit everyone except the person actually buying the home.
He decided to build something different — a platform where the buyer comes first, not last.
The Mission
PropMatters was built on a simple idea: what if homebuying actually worked in favour of the buyer? No brokerage. No spam. No fake listings. No hidden agendas. Just honest information, verified properties, and a direct connection to the people building your future home.
Every feature on the platform exists to solve a real problem:
- Zero brokerage because you shouldn't have to pay a middleman to find a home.
- Verified listings because every property should be exactly what it claims to be.
- No spam calls because your phone number is yours, not ours to sell.
- Honest reviews because real opinions matter more than paid placements.
- Direct developer contact because you should talk to the people actually building your home.
What We Believe
Real estate doesn't have to be complicated, opaque, or stressful. When you have the right information, the right tools, and someone who actually has your back — buying a home becomes what it should be: one of the best decisions you'll ever make. That's what PropMatters is here for.
“We're not just simplifying real estate — we're rebuilding it around the people who matter most: the ones looking for a home.”
