Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the questions we hear most.
Getting Started
PropMatters is a zero-brokerage real estate marketplace that connects property buyers directly with verified developers and builders across India. We help you search, compare, and enquire about properties without any middlemen or hidden fees.
Yes. We don't charge you any commission, finder's fee, or brokerage. Our revenue comes from developers, not from buyers. You'll never be asked to pay extra for using our platform.
You can browse and search properties without an account. However, to enquire about a property, schedule a visit, or save your favourites, you'll need to sign up with your phone number — it's quick and takes less than a minute.
We currently list premium residential and commercial properties across major Indian cities. Our coverage is growing — you can search by city, locality, or neighbourhood to see what's available in your area.
Searching & Comparing
You can search by location, property type (apartment, villa, plot, commercial), budget range, number of bedrooms, and more. Our map-based search lets you visually explore properties in specific areas.
Click the compare icon on any property card to add it to your comparison list. You can compare up to 4 properties side by side — looking at price, area, amenities, location, and other details. The comparison list stays on the right edge of your screen so you can keep browsing while you compare.
Yes. Tap the save icon on any property to add it to your shortlist. You can view all your saved properties from your dashboard anytime.
We display prices as provided by the developers. However, real estate pricing can change — we recommend confirming the final price directly with the developer before making any commitments.
Enquiries & Visits
When you're interested in a property, you can submit an enquiry or schedule a visit directly from the property page. Your contact details are shared only with that specific developer so they can get back to you.
No. Your contact information is only shared with the developer you enquire about — not with multiple agents or third parties. We don't sell or share your data for marketing purposes.
You can schedule a visit from the property detail page by selecting a date and time. The developer or their representative will confirm the visit and meet you at the property. You'll receive reminders to help you stay on track.
Absolutely. Schedule visits for as many properties as you like. We recommend planning visits in the same area together so you can compare them in person.
Your Account & Data
When you sign up, we collect your name, email, and phone number. When you enquire about a property, we share your details with the relevant developer. We also collect basic usage data to improve the platform. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
You can request account deletion by emailing us at reach@propmatters.in. We'll remove your personal data from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe.
We use encryption, secure servers, and strict access controls to protect your information. We never sell your personal data. For more details, read our Privacy Policy.
EMI & Home Loans
Yes. Our built-in EMI calculator lets you estimate your monthly payments based on loan amount, interest rate, and tenure. You can adjust the inputs to see how different scenarios affect your EMI.
We provide information about home loan options from various banks and financial institutions. However, we are not a lender — you'll apply for your loan directly with the bank of your choice.
Listing & Developers
Every listing on PropMatters goes through a verification process before it goes live. We check for accuracy in details, photos, and developer information. If you spot something wrong, please report it to us.
Currently, PropMatters focuses on listings from verified developers and builders. If you're a developer or builder interested in listing your project, get in touch with us through our contact page.
We take inaccurate listings seriously. If you come across a property that seems misleading, please report it to us immediately. We'll investigate and take appropriate action.
